My wordpress plugin reference

  • can you work WordPress without tiny mce advanced ? I cannot
  • do you like to write raw HTML in your widget ? I don’t and I use wysiwyg widget

  • I tried to use media library  categories but this plugin suffers from the absence of category search  from the add image screen in edit post
  • as a substitute I use Media Tags, which is popular and has the search in the edit post screen media library, implemented as a new tab. Drawback is that it’s not hierarchical
• adding extra fields to tags and categories

    Note : this powerful plugin does some work with rewrite slugs  and permalink , might interfere with your installation !!
  • Query Multiple Taxonomies : very powerful widget that displays taxonomies and allows multiple taxonomy search. 
    Search Results filter out taxonomies too : check out example here  : Entreprises et artisans Bretagne displays all departements (sub taxonomy) of Bretagne region

• Micro Kid’s related post lets you select the post you want to relate, works for blogs with a lot of articles via ajax based search and displays related posts in both articles
